On January 10, 2023, the Wichita City Council approved the annual water conservation rebate program. $25,000 has been made available to the utility customers of Rose Hill.
The rebate program offers rebates, issued in the form of a credit on the account, for purchasing and installing water-saving devices, such as: high efficiency toilets, dishwashers, washing machines, rain barrels, smart irrigation controllers, rain sensors, dual flush valve kits, and shower heads. Customers are limited to 5 rebates annually. Rebate devices must have been purchased on or after January 1, 2023. To participate in the Rebate Program, the following items will need to be submitted to the City of Rose Hill:
• Customer’s name and address
• Make, model and Item purchased
• Date purchased
• Amount paid
• Amount of rebate paid
